"I have always wanted to retrain an ex racehorse and I had started looking for something that the whole family could ride. It felt like I was looking for the impossible then I saw Claire's post about Settle and we went to view him. Claire keeps a beautiful, tidy and organised yard and she introduced us to Settle. We fell in love and we trusted Claire immediately that she wouldn't misguide us. Five days later and we met Settle's owner and he arrived at our yard, spotless with hooves oiled and presented beautifully. The whole experience was exciting and well executed. " We first saw Maktay after being tagged in Claire's Facebook video. We were instantly drawn to him and viewed him that week, straight on and out for a hack with Claire. We then went in the school and I absolutely fell in love with him, he was everything we could want! We left him with Claire for a few weeks on schooling livery and were kept updated every step of the way, we even came to visit and went XC schooling. "When I called Claire to ask about a horse she had for sale I could tell straight away that Claire puts a lot of time into getting to know her horses so she can match them up with the right person. The yard has a relaxed feeling about it and the horses all look fantastic! Claire allowed me to try Thomas however I wished and nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to see him in different situations and Claire had put time into putting him through his paces and assessing him to see where his best assets were. It was very much what you see is what you get with Thomas, he has a wonderful attitude towards his work and is a very sweet horse! Claire also offered to drop him off for me which was nice that she wanted to see him in his new home. "I had a phone call from Claire saying that she had a team chaser for me, Creepy was in the field and needing a job to do. We've schooled him over timber fences and going to various XC courses.
